As the travel industry slowly but surely shows signs of recovery, new hotels are beginning to spring up around the world. Corresponding destination analysis, Vacation travel continues to be a high budget priority for Americans. In June, 61.8% of travelers said vacation travel was a “high” or “extremely high” budget. This number has remained stable for the first six months of 2022. Maximum expected annual travel budgets increased in June, reaching an average of $4,345, up 10.5% from May.

The number of Americans traveling could decrease somewhat. The percentage of Americans who expect to take at least one vacation trip in the next 12 months has fallen nearly eight points since February, from 93.3% to 85.8% now, and those with travel plans fell over the same period three points to 82.3%. However, Americans still appear to be sticking to their fall travel plans, with 25% of American travelers reporting travel plans in September and 20.7% reporting travel plans in October.

A newly constructed, six-story building in downtown West Palm Beach will be transformed into AKA West Palm, an upscale hotel residence serving the city’s fast-growing business and leisure traveler community. AKA West Palm is within walking distance to historic Clematis Street, Brightline West Palm Beach train station, restaurants and nightclubs. The hotel will offer 217 luxurious suites and residences, 6,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor just off S.
