(August 2, 2022) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — The IRONMAN Group announced today that the coastal city of Morro Bay, California and the Central California coast will host the latest IRONMAN® 70.3® triathlon The new IRONMAN 70.3 Morro Bay Triathlon is scheduled to take place on May 20, 2023 with general registration beginning on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at www.ironman.com/im703-morro-bay.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Morro Bay Triathlon takes athletes to a 1.2-mile swim in Morro Bay before a 56-mile bike course lined with vineyards and ocean views through the rolling hills of San Luis Obispo County. A 13.1 mile run will cap the event as athletes are greeted at the finish line along the Embarcadero in downtown Morro Bay.
